an Existing rTMS Clinic

Neuro-Mod will consult with pre-existing rTMS clinics to expand their clinical offerings into medical conditions that can prescribe rTMS as off-label. Neuro-Mod will provide the most cutting-edge protocol and techniques backed by research for the following conditions: Anxiety, PTSD, OCD, Addiction, Chronic Pain, Concussion, Dementia, and Motor rehabilitation (stroke, spinal cord injury).

 The is our most involved consulting package whereby we work closely with clients who are interested in creating a rTMS clinic from the ground up. In this way, Neuro-Mod consults in all aspects of this process including but not limited to, clinic insurance, equipment purchasing, and TMS training.

Expand & Optimize

an Existing rTMS Clinic

Neuro-Mod's role as a consultant to these clients will be to advise on several aspects regarding operationalization of rTMS therapy under our “Customized Patient Treatment Plan”. In addition to this consultation, clients can purchase the TMS certification for their staff.

In addition, Neuro-Mod can provide add-ons whereby rTMS is paired with other technologies and methodologies to enhance patient outcomes for a variety of conditions including chronic pain, stroke, concussion, and dementia.

Customized Patient Treatment Plan (CPTP)

Consultation with the client to understand the condition(s) they want to treat with rTMS.

  • Research into Practice

      Neuro-Mod will provide a comprehensive overview presentation to the client about the approaches that will be used to treat the condition(s) they are interested in. This will allow the client to understand the most cutting-edge approaches in published literature using rTMS for treatment.

  • How to Identify Candidates

     Advise the client on how to identify candidates who have a particular condition that may benefit from the rTMS therapy by interpreting the following:

    •  Medical history of the patient including their specific diagnosis
    • Current medications
    • Duration and cause of the condition
    • Assessment of the severity of the condition

  • Protocol Used for Patients

    Neuro-Mod will be responsible for training on several aspects of the rTMS protocol and will include:

    • A design tailored to specific rTMS protocol to reflect the condition being treated and the medical history of the patient. These include, rTMS parameters (frequency, number of pulses, inter-stimulus interval, length of the train, inter-train interval, number of trains, patterned vs continuous stimulation), the intensity of stimulation, target location for stimulation, and all other features of the rTMS protocol.

  • rTMS Adjunct Therapies

      Based on our research, we can provide clients with products we have developed to enhance patient outcomes for the following conditions: chronic pain, stroke, concussion, and dementia.

  • Follow-ups Post Treatment

    • Advise on follow-ups to determine the success of treatment and the need for additional treatment sessions. Advising on how to create additional treatment plans as needed for each patient depending on their outcome following the rTMS protocol.

  • rTMS Oversight

    • Neuro-Mod representatives will be present during the delivery of rTMS for a set period of time as determined by Neuro-Mod and the client. This will be done to oversee initial operations following certification to ensure the client and staff are performing all techniques correctly.
    • During the period of time Neuro-Mod consults with the client as per the service agreement, Neuro-mod will continue to advise and update protocols based on the most cutting scientific literature that is published. In this way, clinics are incentivised to maintain a relationship with Neuro-Mod to continue to optimize their therapy, increasing benefits to patients and attracting new patients.

  • Marketing the rTMS Clinic

    • Neuro-Mod referral program: All clinics we work with will be featured on Neuro-Mod’s website with a geography locator to allow prospective patients the ability to search for clinics we have worked with in their area. This site also acts as a portal for referring physicians to access clinics Neuro-Mod has worked with.
    • Conferences: Neuro-Mod will attend several international conferences and will include the client’s clinic for advertising purposes at these venues. This will act to showcase the clinics Neuro-Mod has worked with and to assist patient recruitment.

Add-Ons

rTMS Certification:  Neuro-Mod will provide certification involving theoretical and hands-on training to the client and their team to perform all techniques related to the delivery of rTMS treatment. This will take place at the client’s facility using their TMS equipment.

Buying/Financing

rTMS Equipment

Neuro-Mod will liaison with equipment manufacture Magstim Ltd for the purchasing of TMS equipment for the clinic. Neuro-Mod will negotiate to achieve best possible pricing options for a complete buy and financing option for the TMS equipment.

Clinic Insurance 

Neuro-Mod will liaise with an insurance provider to acquire quotes for insurance coverage for the rTMS clinic.

rTMS Certification

Neuro-Mod's rTMS certification ensures that the new clinic has the theoretical and practical expertise to deliver TMS safely and efficiently.

Mentorship Period

Upon opening of the rTMS clinic a Neuro-Mod representative will be present with the clinic for five business days, for two weeks to oversee the delivery of rTMS therapy to patients and be available to answer questions and provide guidance regarding performance of rTMS techniques by the client and their personnel. The timing of the mentorship will depend on the client need. For example, a client may wish to operate for serval weeks independently and have Neuro-Mod come at some period subsequent to opening the clinic.

Following the

Mentorship Period

Neuro-Mod provides the following services, upon request for 1 year following the opening of the clinic:

  • Assisting the Client with identifying candidates among the Client’s rostered patients who may benefit from receiving rTMS therapy.
  • Advising the Client regarding the application of specific rTMS treatment protocol(s).
  • Advising on methods for determining the success of rTMS therapy as a treatment modality and developing additional treatment plans.

Fees

   

We will work closely with the client to develop a fee structure that is best suited for both parties. We recognize the costs associated with creating and launching an rTMS clinic to market and Neuro-Mod can provide payment grace periods as appropriate.
